News Release NAMBA Joins the International Fire Safety Standards Coalition

Posted September 18, 2024

Washington, DC — September 18th, 2024 — The North American Modern Building Alliance (NAMBA) is proud to announce its membership in the International Fire Safety Standards (IFSS) Coalition, a global effort to improve fire safety across the built environment. This partnership aligns with NAMBA’s mission to advocate for fire safety policies and the responsible use of plastic building materials in the construction industry.

The IFSS Coalition brings together organizations from across the world to establish a consistent set of standards for fire safety. These standards are designed to address global disparities in fire safety regulation, promoting best practices and helping to ensure that building occupants are protected, no matter where they live or work.
NAMBA’s membership in the IFSS Coalition will provide valuable opportunities for collaboration with international fire safety leaders, facilitating knowledge exchange and contributing to global efforts to enhance fire safety in the built environment.
